I’ve been to holland last week. Every year there is a ritual i follow with great respect when spring come. It is very simple to follow it and i suggest you do it as well.
When the weather is good, and spring has finally arrived you know it. You feel the sun on your face and people are all drinking water in the square of Monastiraki, in Athens. When i discover a day like that has finally arrived -usually mid March- it is time for the ritual. Drink the famous Frappe coffee- instant coffee specialty of greece which take approx. 2 hours to drink- and an ice cream under the sun!Of course all this a good company.
This March however, it was different. This year spring found me in Amsterdam.What it any different??Oh I love Amsterdam. The cars dont bother you, people are calm, the is a certain quality.Plus you can go almost everywhere on foot.So this year, i had a cappuccino instead of a frappe and i had a muffin instead of an icecream.The impoartant this is however, that i was in good company. I hope i will meet the company again.
I love the spring.
